Using the TPLink open source code I was able to build a cloud controller.
After some port forwarding and configuration, I can access my home network from anywhere.
This allows me to manage users and groups when on the road.
I then ran cat6 ethernet cable through the house and into the garage.
With the addition of a western digital my cloud, everything is backed up in the event of a failure.
